2023 EPT Prague schedule announced

Prague in December already has plenty going for it, from its snow-capped castle to the famous Christmas markets. For poker players, however, the Czech capital in winter has long held an even greater appeal. Ever since the first time the European Poker Tour rocked up there in 2007 to close out the calendar year, EPT Prague has been one of the highlights of the tour.

The schedule of events for this year’s EPT Prague, December 6-17, has been announced, and as usual there are plenty of great tournaments on the slate.

Big crowds expected at the Prague Hilton

2022’s EPT Prague Main Event was the biggest ever, with 1,267 entries

Hold’em fans are well catered to, as ever, with events available at the €330 buy-in level all the way up to the €50k Super High Roller. A women’s €330 event runs on December 10 and there’s a senior’s €550 from December 14, both single re-entry. Nightly turbo freezeouts will ensure there’s always something fun to do after dinner, whether you’re running hot at the tables or looking to warm up after a wintry walk.

This year’s EPT Prague Main Event will feature two starting flights, December 11-12, and a buy-in of €5,300. The Eureka Main Event will have six starting flights and run December 6-11, with entry set at €1,100. Both offer a single re-entry per flight.

More mixed games and Mystery Bounties

Non-HE games will also be available, including PLO (€1,100, €5,200) and PLO8 (€1,100), while mixed-game enthusiasts have 8-Game (€550, €1,100, €5,200) and H.O.R.S.E. (€550) tournaments to look forward to.

Mystery Bounty tourneys will also be running at a variety of buy-in levels (€1,650, €3,000, €10,200), putting these fun KO tournaments within reach of even more players. High rollers also have a choice of events at the €10,200, €25,000 and €50,000 levels.

‘Win Your Seat’ satellites return

When it comes to satellites, EPT Prague will once again be offering ‘Win Your Seat’ tourneys for a number of different events. These award cash or seats as soon as your stack reaches a certain size, so potentially offer the fastest way to qualify for anything up to and including the EPT High Roller. And speaking of satellites, players in eligible countries can play to win seats now, online at PokerStars.
