WPT reveals World Championship streaming schedule with 14 days of action

The WPT World Championship festival is on the horizon, and while it’s the $40 million guaranteed flagship event that’s turning heads, there’s a whole lot else going on at Wynn Las Vegas this December. In all, the WPT is streaming 14 days of action, including the final tables of the Prime Championship, the World Championship, and the $1 million Big One for One Drop. The streams will be free-to-air on both the WPT Twitch and YouTube channels.

The stream kicks off on December 7 with a $25/$50 Creator Cash Game featuring WPT ambassadors Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme, ahead of the final table of the $250,000 guaranteed Ladies Championship.

Multi-screen action

High-stakes and PLO cash games take over before Day 3 of the Prime Championship, that will see the field play down to the final table. Then, on December 16, it’s time for the World Championship to take centre stage. Every day from Day 2 is being streamed, but you’ll need two screens if you want to watch the final tables of the Prime (December 19) and Big One (December 20) as well.

The final six in the World Championship will return to play for the trophy and life-changing money on December 21. Last year’s inaugural event saw Eliot Hudon scoop the $4,136,000 first prize after defeating Benny Glaser heads-up. This year’s winner is going to pick up a whole lot more.

“We developed a comprehensive livestream schedule in order to bring global viewers as much unique content as possible during the entire WPT World Championship festival,” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska.

He added, “There will be plenty of must-watch poker to catch during our cash game and final table streams, including the crowning of the ultimate winner of the $40 million guaranteed World Championship.”
